NeuroXR Review: Not Recommended – Here’s Why…
Hi, my name is Alex and today I am going to review this brand-new nootropic called NeuroXR. It just hit the internet so we are going to see if this thing actually works, and how it works.
What is this Neuro XR?
The supplement calls itself “Fuel for the brain.” It claims to provide the following benefits through its formula:
- Sparks creative thinking.
- Concentration skyrockets-AKA super focused.
- Work productivity goes up.
- Memory recall improved.
It comes in the form of a capsule and dosed at two per day, it’s expected to improve your mental focus and overall cognitive abilities. That’s what this supplement promises, anyway.
You do fork over a bit for it as well – it’s $47 a month. It’s really not all bad, being in the mid-range of nootropic prices. If you look up similar products online, this one falls in the middle.
But still, the big questions remain.
Does this product actually work?
How exactly does it work?
Let’s take a closer look in the forthcoming paragraphs.
How Does NeuroXR Work?
There really isn’t a lot of information out there about NeuroXR. There is not a lot of info available telling you how the supplement works.
The description is very vague. It just says things like “It is a custom blend, with a detailed approach…based on ingredients studied by top [scientists]”.
OK that sounds good, but who are these scientists, and what ingredients are you actually using?
Anybody can say some flowery words and make it sound cool and professional. But we want to see results and real people.
This description seems to be a lot of fluff and filler, but no hard evidence of anything that really works.
The website itself is really short in length. We have no idea what we are putting into our bodies when we take this supplement. That seems a little fishy, if you ask me.
Sure, you get to see the ingredients listed on the label. But the manufacturer of this supplement did not put the dosage amounts on the label.
You get some good stuff, like L-Glutamine, DMAE bitartrate, and caffeine, as well as Vitamin B12.
This is really good, but again, we do not know the amount of it that the supplement contains.
The Ingredients of Neuro XR
They do list all the ingredients on the label, which is kind of a good thing. We will give them that. The dosages that are listed are few and far between:
- Folic Acid-400 MCG
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 100 MCG
- Proprietary Blend 700 MCG
- DMAE Bitartrate
- Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCL
- Bacopa Monnieri
What really makes me concerned is the way that the ingredients are hidden inside a 700 mg proprietary formula.
This is a problem because the ingredients contained within that formula are definitely proven nootropics that science has told us will work fine, but they might be too weak to work as intended.
To give you an example, L-Glutamine is one of 20 naturally occurring Amino Acids found within our bodies.
You typically take doses of 5000 mg. So even if the ENTIRE FORMULA of Neuro XR was made of L-Glutamine, the dosage would still be way under the recommended amount.
Another problem is that caffeine is the third ingredient listed on the bottle.
This suggests it is the third most-used ingredient in the formula. With 700 mg of this proprietary formula and then an unlisted dosage of caffeine, you could be getting anywhere from 1 mg of caffeine to 650 mg. You just don’t know!
This means that they are probably trying to pass off a caffeine pill as a great nootropic.
There just isn’t enough information about NeuroXR to make an assumption about what is in this supplement. We don’t know about its effectiveness or safety.
Therefore, if you are sensitive to caffeine, it will probably be a good idea to stay far away from NeuroXR. The amount isn’t listed, and you could really hurt yourself.
Pricing of NeuroXR
When a nootropic isn’t very powerful, and doesn’t list its ingredients very well, it is usually sold to you at a discounted rate. It is just a little more expensive than a caffeine pill.
The manufacturers of NeuroXR took a different route-they chose to price it pretty high for what you are getting.
Here are the rates:
- 1 Bottle – $47
- 2 Bottles- $99
- 3 Bottles- $135
Plus, it is only available online at NeuroXR.com. At least you get a 30-day refund, minus the shipping and handling costs. You also have to pay a restock fee of $6 per item.
If you open a bottle, you do not get a refund. On top of all this, the company states that it reserves the right to reject any return, so who knows if you will get any money back at all.
Who Makes This?
There is a company named Wyoming Freedom Group that makes this supplement. You can contact them via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 844-893-4642.
If you go to their website you can also see their snail-mail address, too.
They also appear to have sold another nootropic called Addium in the recent years.
This company has definitely sold some other supplements in the recent past. The actual location is just a nondescript office location in Jackson, Wyoming.
Should I Take Neuro XR for Boosted Brain Power?
There is no evidence that NeuroXR can improve your cognitive ability. This supplement has never been clinically tested, and the dosage amounts are unlisted. This could seriously be nothing more than a caffeine pill dressed up to look like more.
Therefore, it is not worth your time and money to spend $47 on a bottle of this. There are way better supplements you can get.
Noocube – the Better Nootropic ( Best Neuro XR Alternative )
First of all, Noocube is produced in an FDA approved facility. You know you are getting a product produced in safe conditions you can feel good about buying.
A good nootropic must do all of the following to be classified as such:
This supplement has a great blend of neuron boosting chemicals as well as amino acids that improve your cognitive function.
The company that manufactures the product is Wolfson Berg Limited, and they have been in the business for over 30 years. They know their stuff.
Why Should I Choose NooCube?
You only need two capsules a day to get the benefits. After that, it is a matter of just 30 minutes and you enter a zone of mental clarity and focus like you wouldn’t believe.
You will enjoy greater productivity, greater awareness, and feel good about pushing the boundaries in your everyday life.
What Is Included?
The ingredients for NooCube are great and clearly listed right on the label.
Alpha GPC – This increases acetylcholine in your brain, which is associated with memory, learning capacity, and concentration.
Our bodies have a small amount of this naturally, but supplements can enhance this amount and make your brain stronger.
Huperzine A – this prevents AChE chemicals in your brain from breaking down acetylcholine transmitters in your brain.
Huperzine A will ensure that your brain gets more acetylcholine than can be broken down, and this means an improved memory, clarity, and cognition.
Cat’s Claw – this is an herb that comes from a vine found only in the Amazon rainforest. The herb has antioxidants that provide repair to damaged cells environmental stresses cause.
Bacopa – this is found in India, and contains bacosides, which are believed to repair damaged neurons and promote new nerve growth.
By having healthy neurons, your brain can communicate with itself and send signals to the body to improve your health and cognition.
Oat Straw – This is an herb known as a mental booster. It increases alpha-2 waves in your brain which are most active during your waking periods.
This increases blood flow to the brain and therefore gets you feeling awake and focused.
L-Theanine – This is mostly found in green and black teas and will help reduce stress and anxiety.
It can also stimulate the neurotransmitters found in the brain which will increase the overall communication efficacy,
L-tyrosine – This is an amino acid used in producing dopamine and noradrenaline in your brain. They improve focus and reduce your stress. By boosting these neuron productions, you will enjoy greater mental and physical performance, and lower your stress levels.
Best of all, this contains NO caffeine!
How Much Is It?
Go straight to the manufacturer for the best price.
One bottle is $40, but you can buy in bulk-3 bottles and 3 more free – so a total of 6 BOTTLES for only $120!
This is a much better deal than NeuroXR by a long shot.
What Are the Side Effects?
There are no known side effects for NooCube.
The manufacturers do suggest that you do not take other stimulants while taking NooCube.
This is not to contradict the fact that a nootropic cannot have side effects; rather it is a caution that everybody’s brain is different, and you should simply be careful.
What Do Others Say?
NooCube has some very happy customers.
Consumer Health Digest stated that NooCube was rated at 98% favorability, while the next closest competitor was rated at 85%.
Looking around reveals that the majority of the reviews are positive. One person did state that by taking the supplement every day, and not taking a break at least once per month, side effects can occur.
However, this just shows that everybody is different.
Closing It Up
Based upon the reviews here, there is certainly a better choice when it comes to your nootropic consumption.
Read the reviews and see for yourself- NooCube is the way to go.
